Product description
This lathe is mainly developed for turning oilfield pipe threads and is also suitable for turning various types of pipe threads.It is a popular CNC pipe threading lathe with a semi-closed-loop control system, and can also be used as an ordinary CNC lathe. It is suitable for processing shaft, sleeve, and disc parts with complex shapes, such as turning internal and external cylindrical surfaces, internal and external conical surfaces, arc surfaces, end faces, grooving, chamfering, thread turning, etc. It is especially suitable for alternate processing of multiple varieties in small and medium batches, with strong process adaptability, high processing efficiency, low scrap rate, and good consistency of finished products, which can reduce the requirements for workers' technical proficiency. With easy programming and simple operation, it is an ideal large-scale mechanical processing equipment.
Ⅰ. Bed
The bed adopts an integral box-type structure, which is cast in one piece using high-grade cast iron (HT300) and undergoes secondary aging treatment, resulting in excellent stability. It features a wide guide rail surface, ensuring good rigidity and strong vibration resistance. The guide rail surface is subjected to medium-frequency quenching (with hardness exceeding Shore 68°) and recision grinding by imported guideway grinders, guaranteeing long service life, high precision, and good precision retention.
Ⅱ. Headstock
1.The box structure has strong rigidity and can adapt to heavy cutting operations.
2.The gears are subjected to high-frequency quenching and precision grinding, featuring high precision, stable operation, and low noise.
3.The spindle has a large diameter and is supported by two precision heavy-duty bearings, ensuring stable rotation, suitable for both heavy cutting and precision turning.
4. Automatic forced circulation lubrication ensures flexible operation of the transmission system and effective cooling.
5. Automatic segmental speed change is controlled by M codes, and stepless speed change within segments is controlled by S codes, enabling stepless speed change and constant linear speed cutting.
6. PTL-800A features manual three-speed shifting with stepless speed regulation within each speed. Other models are equipped with hydraulic automatic four-speed shifting with stepless speed regulation within each speed.
Ⅲ. Feeding
1. All sliding guide rail pairs are covered with TSF soft belts, which greatly reduce the friction coefficient and improve the servo response performance.
2.The X-axis and Z-axis adopt precision ground ball screw pairs, ensuring high machining accuracy, positioning accuracy, and precision retention.
3.All moving pairs are automatically lubricated by a centralized intermittent lubrication system.
4.Longitudinal (Z-axis) feeding: Driven by an AC servo motor installed on the left side of the feed box through a planetary reducer to drive the screw; Transverse (X-axis) feeding: Driven by an AC servo motor installed at the rear of the saddle through a flexible coupling directly connected to the transverse ball screw; The machine tool is subjected to dynamic accuracy detection and compensation using a RENISHAW laser detector before leaving the factory, thus ensuring high positioning accuracy and repeat positioning accuracy.
Ⅳ. Electric Toolpost
1.The electric toolpost does not require lifting, enabling fast and convenient tool changing.
2.Various toolpost types such as 4T, 6T, 8T, and 12T are available for selection. The standard configuration is a 4-station vertical toolpost.
Ⅴ. Tailstock
1.It has a robust structure and can withstand heavy cutting.
2.The sleeve is quenched and precision ground.
3.PTL-800A/B/C/D are manual tailstocks with hook dragging. PTL-1000A/1100A/1250A are electric tailstocks, enabling automatic and rapid movement.
Ⅵ. Power
1.The main motor (frequency conversion) is a high-power AC variable frequency motor equipped with a frequency converter, featuring large output and a wide speed range.
2.Both X-axis and Z-axis adopt high-torque AC servo motors, providing strong power, adapting to heavy-load cutting, and having good servo performance.
Ⅶ. Hydraulic System
1.The hydraulic station is centrally controlled, with the hydraulic pump being a variable displacement pump. The headstock lubrication is separated from the hydraulic system, reducing the occurrence of hydraulic system failures.
2.One two-position oil cylinder and one three-position oil cylinder control the four-speed mechanical automatic speed change of the spindle (except for PTL-800A).
Ⅷ. Lubrication System
1.Centralized automatic forced lubrication.
2.The headstock lubrication pump is a gear pump.
3.All ball screw pairs and sliding guide rail surfaces are lubricated by a quantitative pressure relief type centralized thin oil automatic lubrication device.
Ⅳ. Electric Toolpost
1.The electric toolpost does not require lifting, enabling fast and convenient tool changing.

Ⅹ. Safety Protection
1.It adopts a semi-enclosed structure or a full-protection structure, with a sense of integrity, being both safe, practical, novel, and beautiful.
2.Both X-axis and Z-axis screws are protected.
3.When the lathe encounters unexpected sudden power failure or its own faults, due to the special design of the control circuit, the machine tool can perform self-protection to ensure its safety. Since the control program in the machine tool's computer is "solidified" in the chip, the program menu stored in the computer will not be lost in case of power failure or faults.
4.This lathe is equipped with an emergency stop safety button to prevent damage to the machine tool caused by various sudden faults.
Ⅵ. Power
