The SLK-400A CNC slotting machine has a slotting length of 400mm and a maximum slotting speed of 70n/min. It is mainly used for slotting keyways of 18mm or less; for keyways exceeding 18mm, combined tools are required. The transmission method is belt + gear drive. It features strong cutting force and is mainly designed for processing wide keyways.

Optional configurations include an external CNC rotary table, a built-in 320mm CNC rotary table (embedded inside the worktable), or a 500x500mm square rotary worktable (similar to a horizontal machining center).

Features:

1. The SLK-400A is a precision, high-power CNC slotting machine independently designed and developed by our company. It uses digital instructions composed of numbers, words, and symbols to control the actions of one or more mechanical devices, typically controlling mechanical quantities such as position, angle, speed, and correlation. It offers better flexibility, versatility, and reliability, easily implements complex CNC functions, is convenient to use and maintain, and features network connectivity and remote communication capabilities.

2. Main parts: It consists of lower bed, upper bed, lower slider, worktable, carriage, ram and other parts. These parts are made of HT250 high-strength wear-resistant cast iron, subjected to high-temperature aging treatment, secondary aging t reatment after rough machining, and precision grinding and scraping, ensuring the overall machining accuracy of the machine.

3. The machine adopts the KND1000MF CNC control system, enabling full-screen editing with prompts in English and various languages. The CNC control system is equipped with comprehensive and reliable functions including interlocking, safety protection, and fault diagnosis & alarm. It comes with a standard communication interface, enabling program control and storage with a computer, and supporting DNC machining (varies by system).

  (1). Main drive: The main motor transmits power to the main shaft through three-stage deceleration (one-stage synchronous belt deceleration and two-stage gear deceleration), and the crank-slider mechanism realizes the Z-direction reciprocating movement of the ram. The change of the main motor speed determines the slotting speed of the machine, i.e., the Z-direction speed.

  (2). Feeding: Both X and Y direction feed movements adopt direct connection between servo motors and X, Y direction ball screw pairs, reducing errors caused by intermediate transmission structures, thus achieving precise transmission. Changing the servo motor speed can change the X and Y direction feeding speeds. The X and Y direction ball screw pairs adopt a pre-stretching structure to avoid transmission errors caused by screw deformation due to temperature changes.

4. The machine adopts three lubrication methods:

 (1). The main drive gear transmission part adopts splash lubrication: Through the oil slinger installed on the input shaft, the oil in the gearbox is atomized into an oil mist for lubrication during rotation.

 (2). The worktable part and ram part adopt electronic quantitative pump lubrication: The quantitative pump has a liquid level alarm function to remind users to refuel in time, and provides timed forced lubrication for the worktable part and ram part.

(3). The ball screw support uses high-precision rolling bearings, lubricated with grease: Sufficient and reliable lubrication can ensure the normal operation of the machine tool and extend the long-term maintenance of the machine tool's accuracy.

5. This machine has the functions of slotting keyways, planes, formed surfaces, internal and external splines, etc. It is a cutting machine tool that realizes slotting through numerical control.

The machine has high power, good rigidity, higher precision level than ordinary CNC slotting machines, high cost performance, and long service life. It can be widely used in machine tool and automobile manufacturing, various mechanical and electrical industries, and aerospace industries. It is an ideal equipment for processing keyways of various materials.

6. Optional automatic tool change function, which realizes rough and fine slotting twice. Especially for medium-sized workpieces, after one clamping, after rough machining is completed, the slotting tool rotates automatically, and the oil cylinder clamps to complete the finish machining of the workpiece.

7.  When using high-speed steel tools to machine No. 45 carbon steel, it is recommended that the slotting width be less than or equal to 18mm.
